Polyester (base) Thermoplastic Elastomer

PRIMALLOY® CP is Thermoplastic Copolyester having a unique characteristics and performance.
There are two product lines, PRIMALLOY® CP200 series and CP300 series.
CP 200 series is composed of aliphatic polyester, and CP300 series is composed of aliphatic polyester blocks as hard segment as well as polyether blocks as soft segment. PRIMALLOY® CP has good heat resistance, chemical resistance and transparency.

PRIMALLOY® CP 200 series

• has good transparency and good gloss property.
• has not only good heat resistance as a polyester polymer, but also has good flexibility equivalent to soft PVC.
• provides wide range unique ideas for your application as a single using or composite using with other materials.
• has less discoloration due to excellent weather resistance
• higher capability for hygienic application than other aromatic polyesters
• compatible with PC,PVC and other polyesters, and capable for double injection and co-extrusion molding.
• has good bonding performance to following substrates;
       Polycarbonate[PC]
       Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC)
       Polyethylene Terephthalate[PET]
       Polycarbonate Alloy [ ex.) PC/ABS]
• capable for injection, extrusion and blown-film prosess.

PRIMALLOY® CP 300 series

• has good transparency and chemical resistance.
• is perfectly compatibile with Polycarbonate (PC).
  This improves flexibility and chemical resistance of PC without losing transparency.
• works excellently as a compatibilizer to improve transparency of Polycarbonate-based polymer alloys with;
       Polyethylene Terephthalate[PET]
       Acrylonitrile-styrene Copolymer
       Styrene Copolymer
• has good heat resistance and good transparency after stretched film process.
• has good pollution resistance from low-molecular-weight substance because of low content of low-molecular-weight substance.
